Of the six million palm trees in the Bushehr province, over 62% of it is in Dashtestan, which has now begun harvesting dates.
The villagers of this city produce more than 70% of the dates of the Bushehr province, and in addition to supplying domestic markets, the annual amount of its 15,000 to 20,000 tons is to the countries of Russia, Turkey, Central Asia, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and some Exported from European countries.

The Palm Hani South Co., along with other gardeners, has started harvesting, processing and packing the dates as industrial.
